Alex has a BSc in Psychology and is working towards an MSc in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck College,London.

He has published several technical IT articles in the past. Like all technical IT articles these are now obsolete. His research into trust in virtual teams will be published in late 2009 as a chapter of a book entitled "The Human Side of Outsourcing: Practice and Theory." Stephanie Morgan (ed) Oxford: Wiley

His main academic interests are team dynamics, trust, empowerment, employee engagement, computer mediated communication and informal working practices.

Alex has 30 years experience as an IT developer, tester and project manager and has worked as a consultant for a wide variety of organizations in both the public and private sectors. He is now an IT project manager for one of the major outsourcing organisations in the United Kingdom.
